Sundays are a time for our church family to join in community, worship, and learn more about God and ourselves. Our prayer is you will find SVCC a place where you and your family can grow and connect. No matter where you are in life, we are passionately committed to providing an environment to build relationships, and to challenge and inspire us in discovering our true potential in God’s kingdom.
What we come to know about God matters. At SVCC we develop expository sermon series' that connect the gospel to our living. Our goal is to provide a learning environment for the heart and the head, where the triune God revealed in Scripture can transform how we live day-to-day.
Sunday should be a gospel celebration and we believe worship should contain the same deep theology as a sermon. We value old and new hymns alike, trying to arrange them for a multigenerational community so that the High Schooler and Octogenarian can worship Jesus together.
In every song and social connection, we want our church family to experience God's love and truth in every gathering. Our goal is that every person walking through the door would experience a feeling of vibrant community full of God's deep truth and the vastness of His grace.
Children are the future and here at SVCC we are invested in “The Church of the Next Generation”. It is our mission to come alongside families and support parents as they raise their children to know and love Christ. We instill a Biblical worldview in creative, fun and age appropriate ways. Our Sunday programs utilize Orange Curriculum. m
Our student leaders are committed to help each student in our ministry see God for who He is, to see themselves the way God sees them, and to love others the way He loves us. Our goal is for each student to know these truths by the time they graduate by using relevant engaging content, conversations, relationships, and strategy.
