From skeptics to people in the pews, there are doubts and questions in the air. Is there only one way to God? Is Christianity the one true religion? Can we trust the Bible? For the month of August, we have made it a tradition at South Valley Community Church to address these issues. We invite some of the top Christian thinkers from around the country to give us their insights on these difficult questions.
Join us on Sundays on YouTube, from August 2-30 and develop a clearer understanding of your faith and how to express it to others.join us

He was educated at Princeton University and the University of Oxford, and he taught philosophy of religion and served as a faculty member at both universities. It was during his undergraduate studies in philosophy at Princeton that Vince was challenged to read the Bible and took an unexpected journey from skeptic to evangelist. He then completed master’s and PhD studies at Oxford, receiving a Daniel M. Sachs Graduating Scholarship (at the time awarded annually to one graduating Princetonian) and a Clarendon Scholarship (supported by Oxford University Press).

Greg Koukl started out thinking he was too smart to become a Christian and ended up giving his life for the defense of the Christian faith. A central theme of Greg’s speaking and writing is that Christianity can compete in the marketplace of ideas when it’s properly understood and articulated. Greg has published more than 145 articles and has spoken on more than 40 university and college campuses both in the U.S. and abroad. He is an Adjunct Professor in Christian Apologetics at Biola University. Greg hosts his own radio talk show advocating clear-thinking Christianity and defending the Christian worldview
Hugh Ross is the founder of Reasons to Believe. It emerged from his passion to research, develop, and proclaim the most powerful new reasons to believe in Christ as Creator, Lord, and Savior and to use those new reasons to reach people for Christ. He holds a PHD in Astronomy from the University of Toronto. He is eager to equip Christians to engage, rather than withdraw from or attack, educated non-Christians.
Dr. Sean McDowell is a gifted communicator with a passion for equipping the church, and in particular young people, to make the case for the Christian faith. He connects with audiences in a tangible way through humor and stories while imparting hard evidence and logical support for viewing all areas of life through a Biblical worldview.
